Marcus has significant expertise in the marketing and information services and education industries and shares overall strategic and operating responsibility for CIVC. He joined CIVC in 1988 and has been a partner since 1992. Marcus is Chairman of EPIC Technologies, LLC and Medical Knowledge Group, and serves on the board of K & K Screw Products, LLC. He is also a board member with SGA Youth & Family Services, a social welfare agency in Chicago. Prior to joining CIVC, Marcus was a sales and marketing manager with Pacific Bell. He received a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of California at Los Angeles, where he graduated magna cum laude and was elected Phi Beta Kappa, and a Master of Business Administration from the Harvard Business School, where he received first year honors.
