CIVC Partners, a leading private equity firm, today announced that John Compall and Scott Schwartz have been promoted to Partner.
John Compall joined CIVC in 1995 and has been actively involved in CIVC’s business services and marketing and information services affinity areas. He currently serves on the boards of EPIC Technologies, Medical Knowledge Group, Goldline International, Pipeline Industries, and KS Energy Services, and works with The Brickman Group. Prior to joining CIVC, Mr. Compall worked as a consultant at McKinsey & Company and was a member of the corporate strategy and development group at Ameritech Corporation. He received a Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering with Honors from the University of Illinois, and a Masters of Business Administration from the University of Chicago.
Scott Schwartz joined CIVC in 2004 and has been an active investor in the financial services and business services sectors. He currently serves on the boards of GWC Warranty Corporation and Innovative Aftermarket Systems. Prior to joining CIVC, Mr. Schwartz was a Vice President at American Industrial Partners, where he focused on acquisitions in the industrial growth and business services industries. He also previously served as a consultant with McKinsey & Company, advising companies in the areas of mergers and acquisitions, operations, and strategy. He received a Bachelor of Science in Economics and a Masters of Business Administration from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania where he graduated with high honors.
