PHILADELPHIA, PA — CIVC Partners, L.P. (“CIVC”), a Chicago-based middle market private equity firm, is pleased to announce that its portfolio company, Magna Legal Services (“Magna”), has completed the acquisition of Kim Tindall & Associates, LLC (“KTA” or the “Company”).
KTA is a leading provider of court reporting and record retrieval services for approximately 1,500 law firms and corporations. KTA was founded in 2009, and over the last decade has established itself as one of the largest independent providers of court reporting and record retrieval services in Texas.
KTA represents a highly complementary acquisition that enhances Magna’s existing capabilities and market position in Texas. “KTA is a tremendous fit for Magna,” said Bob Ackerman, Chairman of Magna. “We share a similar vision, culture, and mission for serving our clients with the highest quality of service and support.
