Chris joined CIVC as a partner in 1994. Chris shared overall strategic and operating responsibility for CIVC for over 31 years until his retirement at the end of 2025. Chris was formerly a director of Wintrust Financial Corporation, CATI, Specialized Elevator, Yellowstone Landscape, EN Engineering, Peak Utility Services, Fitness International, the Brickman Group, PowerTeam Services, Icon Identity Solutions, Kellermeyer Building Services, and TransWestern Publishing. He was instrumental in developing the outsourced business services vertical that remains CIVC’s core investment focus. In retirement, he continues to be an investor in the CIVC funds and in active dialog with members of the firm.
Chris received a Bachelor of Science in Accountancy from the University of Illinois and a Master of Business Administration from Pepperdine University. He is a Certified Public Accountant.
